Adobe CS 6 Premiere pro is very fast in rendering & loading clips. warp stabilizer is awesome. It has all good things from FCP X. really good product.

I’m using Media Composer 5.5.3 on Lion with an iMac (Quad-core 3.4 GHz with 8 GB ram) and haven’t had one problem yet…. been syncing dailies on it and cutting etc.

Also of interest at NAB was Autodesk’s changes to Smoke on a Mac. Not only have they introduced a very 1.0 NLE, but they’ve also made it incredibly easy to switch back and forth between their nodal mode and the new timeline mode. That’s fantastic in my mind. Makes compositing so much more flexible.
