New Software to Consider: Adobe CS6 and NewBlueFx Titler Pro
A couple of very interesting announcements at NAB: Adobe has announced an update to its Creative Suite. It includes improvements to Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. One reviewer felt Premiere in particular has taken the best features of Final Cut Pro 7, and moved to the next level. Here is a preview.
NewBlueFX Titler Pro is a new program to me. Here is its website. Titler Pro is a new release for the Mac platform, which can work as a replacement for Avid’s Title Tool / Marquee. Here is a review and video demo.

Also of interest at NAB was Autodesk’s changes to Smoke on a Mac. Not only have they introduced a very 1.0 NLE, but they’ve also made it incredibly easy to switch back and forth between their nodal mode and the new timeline mode. That’s fantastic in my mind. Makes compositing so much more flexible.
Adobe CS 6 Premiere pro is very fast in rendering & loading clips. warp stabilizer is awesome. It has all good things from FCP X. really good product.
