What I’ve learned since yesterday: Lion

I’m not upgrading my laptop or any work system to Mac OS 10.7. Not for a while at least. First of all, Avid Media Composer isn’t qualified to work on Lion. Nor are a lot of critical applications. Adobe has reported many incompatibilities. So, I’m waiting and advising those with critical work applications to wait until you know for sure what works and what doesn’t.  - Harry

    I’m using Media Composer 5.5.3 on Lion with an iMac (Quad-core 3.4 GHz with 8 GB ram) and haven’t had one problem yet…. been syncing dailies on it and cutting etc.
